Le Strade più Belle d’Italia
Le Strade più Belle d’Italia (“Italy’s Most Beautiful Roads”) is a project to promote roads, landscapes, communities and well-run municipalities, encouraging care for green spaces, the quality of public spaces, slow mobility and local food production.
The project has been presented publicly as an initiative dedicated to travel, scenic roads and the territories they cross.
What the proposal includes
- Italian routes and landscapes, with recognition for well-run municipalities.
- Planting, maintenance and improvement of roadsides.
- Promotion of local food products.
- A portal, an app, virtual tours, social media channels and artificial intelligence tools.
- Signage and information boards along the routes.
These elements are planned in the 2024 proposal and do not describe services that are already running. Progress will be updated on this page.
